10. Avocado Toast With Egg
Avocado toast with an egg supplies you with a great source of healthy fats, fiber, protein and complex carbohydrates. Pop a piece of whole wheat bread in the toaster and prepare one egg over easy. Mash half of an avocado on the toast and top it with the egg. Enjoy with a fruit cup made with berries, banana, and melon for some added antioxidants and fiber. 9. Whole Wheat Banana Muffins
Make a batch of whole wheat banana muffins the night before and grab a few in the morning while you are heading out the door. To make, mix together one and one-half cups of whole wheat flour with three-quarter tablespoons of baking soda, one-half teaspoon of salt, one-quarter teaspoon baking powder, two eggs, one-half cup butter, one third cup pure maple syrup and two very ripe bananas. Scoop into pre-lined muffin tins and bake at three hundred and fifty degrees for twelve minutes.
