5. Understand Your Stress
We often blame stress on certain situations, but realistically stress doesn’t onset during the holidays. It’s likely that you get stressed out all throughout the year and this is an elevated feeling of something familiar for you. The holidays should be fun, not a state of constant panic.
Meditation and yoga are one of the ways to manage stress. These disciplines allow you to center yourself during a stressful moment through your breathing, and enable you to be more mindful in general.
4. Take Moments In
There are beautiful displays of the holidays everywhere. Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses, or perhaps more appropriately, look at your surroundings.
Grab a coffee or some roasted chestnuts from a street vendor for a moment of holiday zen. If you’re clear in the mind, you’re going to be more productive.
