Since 1978, CinemaScore has been polling moviegoers on the opening night of a film to assess how much they enjoyed it. Using the results of the poll, CinemaScore assigns a letter grade to the movie, which can range from an 'A' to an 'F.' Although movies vary in how well audiences receive them, only nineteen movies have ever received an 'F' grade.
