If going public wasn't enough, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ready to let the world know how much they fancy each other. The royal couple just released an official pair of engagement pictures which showcase Harry and Meghan getting up close and personal on the grounds of Windsor Castle. Giving their fans some serious couple goals required enlisting the help of New York-based fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski, who is also famed for his photos of Harry's mother, Princess Diana.
Eyes On His Prize
Typically engagement shots of a royal nature have shown couples looking into the camera, but in this intimate black and white photo, it is clear to see Harry is all about keeping his bride-to-be to himself. The prince dons a Burberry coat while Meghan wears a sweater by Victoria Beckham. Apart from their fairy tale love story, the warm embrace shows how far royal engagement photos have since Queen Elizabeth got engaged seventy years ago.
A Royal Affair
This portrait is more synonymous with royal pomp and circumstance, but the couple still appears cool, calm and collected while reclining on the steps of castle courtyards. Meghan showcases her engagement ring featuring two diamonds from Princess Diana's collection as well as one made from a diamond in Botswana. The prince went with a plain navy suit in stark contrast to Meghan's whopping almost $60,000 dress by Ralph & Russo. While the ring should be taking prominence in the photo, the couples attraction and love for one other takes center stage.
