8. Sit or Walk By Water

If you live near a pond or a stream, there is good reason for you to think about getting out and taking it all in from time to time.

Some communities are fortunate enough to have walking paths along their waterways, with benches placed periodically throughout. Make a point to spend about ten minutes each day sitting on one of those benches near the water.

Listen to the rippling stream next to your walking trail, or the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. These beautiful sounds are sure to make you feel better.
