If Science Is So Advanced Why Can't It Explain These Mysteries?

With all of modern science's access to advanced recording instruments, telescopes, cameras and high-tech imaging software you would think the mystery of UFO's would have been long solved by now. While many sightings are explained as natural occurrences, planes or weather balloons, to this day, there remains a large percentage of UFO sightings that may have other than earthly origins.
