Taking the car out every few weeks to run the motor is not advised because it may leave water in the combustion chamber and the exhaust. Also, disturbing it from its winter nap after the painstaking process of cleaning, replacing fluids, and disconnecting the battery, all efforts will be for naught. The time it took to prepare the vehicle for winter storage in the garage will have to be repeated so let the car rest.
